Shaun and I took the boys to a train park where they got to ride on a train, carousel, eat ice cream, play in the play ground and walk through the gift shop! I think I had more fun then they did but was quickly proven wrong when we were leaving and Bubba was protesting so vocally that I started think maybe HE had more fun!

We we went to Utah for one of my missionary companions wedding. We drove 14 hours to see her for 30 minutes at most! It was worth it! We went threw Vegas and saw the M&M factory. Jake loved it alot.....he calls M&M's yummies. We walked around Temple Square in Salt Lake with a friend and had a wonderful time. MOst of the trip seemed to be alot of driving but looking it back it was well worth it. Got to see old friends and

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!! . It was really hot but bearable since we brought misting bottles. The boys loved it. The forth of July has come and gone! I know! We went to Schneph Farms out in Queen Creek with some friends. Jake loved all the activities, he rode a camel with Brooky and Bailey then went down the water slides. When the fireworks got started he got scared and Daddy was able to calm him down. For the 25 minute firework display all you heard from Bubba was “WOW DADDY! COOL! BOOM!” He and Daddy sat in a chair and watched them. It was cute because Shaun was like a kid. Riley was big eyed the whole time, often covering his ears when it got loud. We were so close to the fireworks that sometimes the embers would come down and one almost lit our friends’ hair on FIRE!
Happy 4th to everyone and to the troops we give our thanks.

Camping trip!!

While we were eating Riley was tuckered out and finally slept....... shhhhhhh.
(picture perfect hu?)

We ate in the camper to avoid eating any more bugs then we had to! Jake was eating all of Grandmas' ribs but still saved room for the FABULOUS peach cobbler made in the dutch oven! YUM!!!!!

Camping Trip!!!!

Shaun was making the fire for breakfast....bubba was watching looking for right moment to throw stuff in fire!

Shaun and I along with his parents and my mom went camping in BIG LAKE this week! It was a blast. Jake loved the fire and dirt. He would follow daddy around getting wood and pine cones. At one point Jake was playing football with daddy and grandpa but was kicked out of the game because he would run with the ball and refused to throw it to anyone. IT was nice up there. Day time high was 84 and night time low was 53, since we just bought a new camper it was nice and warm!! (Well as long as we snuggled)

Best thing about camping is you don't have to worry about how you look or smell. Worse thing about camping is you don't have to worry about how you look or smell. HAHAHA.

Riley is already eating FOOD!! He is getting bigger and we can't believe it. Although we just started giving him feed we have reason to believe Jake has been giving him food alot longer then us- hummmm!
